Terms and Conditions (GTC)
Licensing with Gracie Concepts - Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Network Europe:

1. Conditions
Anyone training at a GJJNE-affiliated academy / school must obtain a GJJNE license from the Academy (or directly at the GJJNE headquarters) to be recognized as an active member.

2. Data
The information provided in your license order is registered in the system by GJJNE and is used exclusively for association purposes.

3. Rights and obligations of the license
The Jiu-Jitsu-kas with a valid license are eligible to start / qualify for any competitions, tournaments, workshops, seminars, etc. licensed and / or host by the GJJNE.

As a member one is entitled to take part in the examinations until reaching the Black belt (Bras. Faixa Preta); Examination and certification are free of charge with a valid license. All GJJNE graduations are recognized by the Jiu-Jitsu Global Federation (JJGF), International BJJ Federation (IBJJF), and U.S. Federation Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

By purchasing and using the GJJNE license, the Jiu-Jitsu-kas acknowledge the following regulations of the national / international associations in their respective valid form:
+ the International Competition Rules (IBJJF / JJGF Competition Rules)
+ the provisions of Antidoping Switzerland (or in your own country)
+ the Ethics Charter and the Cool & Clean Commitments of Swiss Olympic (or own country)

4. Validity
The license is valid for one calendar year (01.01.-31.12.). The license must be renewed every year. The license for the following year is in each case payable before November 1st. New members, entering training during winter season, do not have to obtain a license for the current year, but directly for the following year.

5. Payment methods
The license can also be paid directly to the GJJNE via the PayPal account (email Diese E-Mail-Adresse ist vor Spambots geschützt! Zur Anzeige muss JavaScript eingeschaltet sein!) or by paying-in (Postal) slip.

6. Refund
Ordered licenses can’t be returned; GJJNE does not pay licenses back.

7. Purchase of licenses by third parties
Those who order a license for other Jiu-Jitsu-kas (in particular Academies, Teams, Club representatives), confirms with the agreement to these terms and conditions, and confirms that he or she is authorized to do so and that the Jiu-Jitsu-kas know these terms and conditions and fully agree with them.

Vacirca Brothers' Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Network in Europe to promote authentic Gracie (Brazilian) Jiu-Jitsu around the globe. The network was established in 1996, just one year after establishing the first ever official Gracie (Brazilian) Jiu-Jitsu Academy in Europe - on April 1995 in Zurich, Switzerland. The first Vacirca Brothers' Academy was establised in 1989 with the goal of teaching and promoting Applied Martial Arts concepts.
